On December 5th, in the scope of Joint Program funded by the European Union and implemented by the Council of Europe “Support for Access to Justice in Armenia”, ADR Partners and Labor Rights Defender (Mediator) office in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of RA, organize an international Conference entitled “Development of mediation in Armenia: setting legislative and institutional grounds”.

The following issues will be discussed during the Conference:

• legislative and practical issues of mediation in Armenia,
• presentation and discussion of the draft law օn mediation and the amendments in the Civil Procedural Code of RA,
• presentation of international practice on mediation.   

International experts from Russia, Bulgaria, Georgia, and other countries will participate in the Conference. The key speakers of the Conference will be Mr. Aram Orbelyan (Deputy Minister of Justice of RA), Mr. Evgeni Georgiev (Judge at Sofia city court, Vice president of the European Judicial Association for Mediation), Prof. Tsisana Shamlikashvili (Founder of the Center of mediation and law, President of National association of mediators (Russia)), Mr. Mushegh Manukyan (General director and mediator of ADR Partners as a national expert) and others. All interested parties are welcome to participate.

The entrance is free. 

The conference will commence at 11:00.

Venue: Erebuni plaza, Erebuni hall. 

The languages of the conference are Armenian and English.
