On June 3, 2013 at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) university a lecture on mediation and arbitration will be held by Mushegh Manukyan, PhD, ADR Partners General Director and mediator, lecturer of American University of Armenia and Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, and by Aida Avanessian, PhD, ADR Partners arbitrator and mediator.

The lecture will be dedicated to the alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation, arbitration, as well as the legal and practical problems of alternative dispute resolution. 

Ms. Avanessian will present the international arbitration experience on a variety of topics and issues, including the problem of denationalization of arbitration, which has become a practical topic in arbitration practice throughout recent years.

During his lecture Mr. Manukyan also will discuss issues of mediation in Armenia, possible ways of its development, as well as students will be given an opportunity to express their proposals on the development of the named institutes in Armenia. The lecture participants actively will take part in practical exercises, mediation role-play, where the participants will act in the roles of the disputing parties and a mediator.

The lecture will be held on June 3, at 14:00, in the Blue Hall.
